Verge (XVG), is an established and reliable digital currency in use since 2014 and popular because of its superior anonymity features than the bitcoin network. It is a refurbished version of the DogeCoinDark. Verge has increased the security and privacy features by using the i2P and Tor anonymity-centric networks.
Investor’s privacy and personal freedom are eroded by network surveillance and this was a cause of concern for the investors as all their transactions could become public as it happens in bitcoin. Bitcoin is transparent. When a user reveals their address to another miner, the latter can completely view all the transactions that have taken place and can read all the coins that have been received and paid. This lapse in privacy is eliminated with XVG.
In Verge, the transactions done by a user, are routed through different servers in different locations. When the information is passed from one server to another, the information is automatically deleted from the source. So, the receiving server is unable to know and retain from where it received the information. This goes on till the last transaction which results in preserving complete privacy and anonymity. it is all encrypted in a manner that there is no way the information can be read or tampered by anybody.
Verge relies on Tor to make the transactions irretrievable. Tor expandable to The Onion Router uses different traffic servers and encrypts the data and route making it untraceable back to the source of origin. Verge also uses the i2P, a network that allows users to send and receive messages in total security and in an anonymous manner. Verge thus serves as a double protection to the users and they can have total peace of mind so far as information leakage is concerned.
XVG had some issues in the initial days of its inception and wavered for about 2 years till it was refurbished. It steadied in 2016 and went on to have an all-time high but again had a downward trend for some time. The initiators intervened and published a white paper and since then, has again regained the confidence of the investors. There are many cryptocurrencies available that promises of anonymity and it is up to the user’s discretion which technology they would want to invest in.
Investing on Verge is an incentive if the user’s cared for better privacy and control.
